Since childhood, I’ve had a deep passion for the sea, sailing, and boats. This passion led me to pursue formal studies in the field, starting with a technical diploma in naval construction, followed by an engineering degree in naval architecture from ENSTA Bretagne, one of France’s leading maritime engineering schools.

I then spent three years gaining hands-on experience in shipbuilding and repair at Piriou, a well-established French shipyard. This included an enriching six-month mission in Vietnam, where I oversaw final trials and coordinated contractors during the delivery of new vessels.

Back in Mauritius, I joined Resiglas, pioneers of fiberglass boat manufacturing on the island. I took the lead of the nautical department, which I fully revitalized with new ideas and a modern understanding of the market, while benefiting from the long-standing expertise of the company’s seasoned team.

With several years of experience in boat manufacturing, repairs, and sales, the desire to start my own venture naturally took shape.

This is how Area Marine was born — a company dedicated to supporting boat owners with expertise and passion.

Today, I provide personalized support at every stage of boat ownership: buying, maintenance, resale, or after an incident. As a recognized marine surveyor, I deliver thorough inspection reports for insurance, financing, or resale purposes — helping you make confident, informed decisions. My deep understanding of the local market ensures that you can buy, sell, or maintain your boat with clarity and peace of mind.
